Bakery Production Associates shall follow the Production Team Leader’s direction and fully embrace Capistrano’s Bakery Prime Directives and Statement of Values; coupled with the adherence to company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Associates perform duties as listed below and may include additional responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

  • Read production schedules and documents
  • Operate bakery machinery
  • Document counts, weights, sizes and times
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas
  • Package and stage finished bakery goods


  • Be 18 years or older
  • Possess basic math skills
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Work well with a team
  • Able to follow written and verbal directions

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
  • Work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Stand and bend for extended periods of time
  • Have clean appearance and good hygiene
